Dallas, TX — November 9, 2024, Kyle King Jr. was injured as the result of a truck accident at around 1:00 a.m. along Interstate 45.

According to initial details about the crash, it happened along southbound lanes of the interstate at the U.S. Highway 175 split.

Investigators said that 27-year-old Kyle King Jr. was in a Chevy Malibu going along I-45. For reasons which are not confirmed right now, the Chevy and an International semi-trailer collided.

Kyle King reportedly sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. There were no other reported injuries. Additional details are unavailable at this time.

A crash involving a commercial truck is bound to involve all kinds of complex factors. Even when an accident may seem simple or straight-forward, it's important to ensure investigations are as thorough as possible. There could be multiple factors contributing to someone's injuries, or there could be serious issues that require a more thorough analysis than typical police investigations cover.

For example, I handled a case not long ago where authorities almost blamed someone for injuries that weren't their fault. They found the victim out of their seat following the crash, so they just assumed the victim hadn't been wearing a seatbelt.
