Dallas, TX — September 29, 2025, Lakisha Ward was injured following a car accident around midnight along Dallas Parkway.
Initial details about the crash say it happened near Quorum Drive between Belt Line Road and Spring Valley Road.

According to initial details about the accident, 48-year-old Lakisha Ward was in a Hyundai Santa Fe going southbound on Dallas Parkway. For reasons not clear right now, the vehicle left its lane, and it crashed along the side of the road.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Additional details are unavailable.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Single-vehicle accidents are often more challenging than people realize. They're not simple just because only one vehicle was involved. In fact, they can present unique challenges if a department views them as a low priority, since that means officers may not have the time or tools they need to dig into all of the details properly. My hope is authorities were able to be more thorough here, but it would be far from the first time a crash like this needed an independent investigation.
