Latasha Vasquez Killed in Pedestrian-Auto Accident in Greenville, TX
Greenville, TX — October 2, 2023, Latasha Vasquez was killed in a pedestrian-auto crash in the 490 block of U.S. Business Highway 69 South in Greenville, TX.
Authorities indicate that on October 2, a fatal accident occurred when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Greenville for unknown reasons. According to reports, the accident happened at approximately 8:23 at night.
Investigators say a woman attempted to cross north along U.S. Business Highway 69 when she entered the path of an oncoming SUV and was struck. Sources say the SUV was traveling west on the highway at the time of the crash.
Officials confirmed that the woman, Latasha Vasquez, was taken to an area hospital and died at a later time. No other injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved in the accident. Authorities stated that no criminal charges are pending at this time.
