Leonardo Interiano Gonzalez Killed in Car Accident on F.M. 2920 in Houston, TX
UPDATE (August 16, 2024): What was reported at first to have been a single-vehicle accident was in, fact, a two-car accident, according to more recent reports. Additional details in these reports state that 27-year-old Leonardo Gonzalez, a 29-year-old man, and a 16-year-old boy were traveling in a westbound Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on F.M. 2920 at the Holzwarth Road intersection. Officials have stated that, for as yet unknown reasons, the pickup truck failed to stop at the stop light indicated by the traffic signal; this led to a collision between the back-left side of the pickup and the front-end of a northbound Mazda on Holzwarth Road. Reports state that no one from the Mazda suffered any injuries. The investigation continues.
UPDATE (August 1, 2024): Recent reports have been released which identify the man who lost his life as a result of this single-vehicle accident as Leonardo Interiano Gonzalez. No additional information is currently available. The investigation is ongoing.
Houston, TX — July 21, 2024, one person was killed following a single-car accident sometime in the early morning hours along Farm to Market 2920.
According to authorities, the accident took place on F.M. 2920 in the vicinity of Holzwarth Road.
