Marcos Criddle Killed in Shooting in Odessa, TX
Odessa, TX — November 5, 2024, Marcos Criddle was fatally injured due to a shooting that happened at around 5:24 a.m. off Flint Avenue.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the shooting occurred at a workplace on Flint just south of Kermit Highway.
Initial details about the incident say that 24-year-old Marcos Criddle was at work at the time when a co-worker allegedly shot Criddle. Due to the shooting, Criddle was killed.
The allege shooter was reportedly booked into jail for murder. The incident is still under investigation.

While there may be someone getting their day in court to answer for what happened here, that alone may not be enough to truly get the victim's loved ones the full story they deserve. Hopefully authorities are continuing to investigate not only what happened here but whether or not there were signs at this place of work that something like this might happen.
