Minor Killed in Car Accident on West Fuqua Street in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — December 12, 2024, A minor child was killed following a car accident that occurred at around 10:35 A.M. on West Fuqua Street.

An investigation is underway into a car accident that resulted in the death of a minor child late Thursday morning. Official reports appear to indicate that a pickup truck failed to yield the right-of-way when turning onto West Fuqua Street from Bathurst Drive, striking an adult female pushing a stroller with the minor child inside.
The pickup struck both people as they were crossing the street on a crosswalk, and when first responders arrived on the scene they found that both of them had sustained injuries and they were transported to the hospital. The minor ultimately succumbed to their injuries, and the woman is reportedly in stable condition. At this time no charges have been filed, and the identities of the individuals involved have not yet been released.

This is about the worst thing anyone can read about. As a father, my only hope that the resulting investigation provides answers to all the questions that those affected by this incident may have. It may not be much, but at least it should help provide them some small measure of closure.
