Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
I just want to be clear that I don't know anything more about this accident than what's available in the news. However, I can't help thinking about the fact this happened to a 71-year-old head pastry chef—someone who was likely very experienced in their line of work. With that in mind, have their been inspections into the machinery itself to see if some sort of defect or malfunction caused the accident? Maybe this was just a sudden, unavoidable accident, but those details right now just don't add up to me.
