Motorcyclist Killed in Car Accident on I.H. 10 in Boerne, TX
Boerne, TX — August 21, 2024, one person was killed following a motorcycle versus car accident shortly before 2:30 p.m. along Interstate Highway 10.
According to authorities, a motorcycle had slowed to a stop in traffic caused by construction in the area on I.H. 10 in the vicinity of Ranger Creek Road when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a pickup truck failed to appropriately slow for traffic conditions and collided with the rear-end of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identity of the victim—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
