One Killed, One Injured in Auto Accident on Woodlands Pkwy in The Woodlands, TX
The Woodlands, TX — May 6, 2023, a woman was killed and a man was injured in a traffic collision on FM 2978 in The Woodlands.
According to local authorities, a collision occurred between a Honda Accord and a Ford F-250 on Farm to Market 2978, at the intersection of Woodlands Parkway, Saturday afternoon. First responders received a call around 2:30 p.m. indicating that a collision with serious injuries had taken place.
Initial reports suggest that the Honda Accord, initially southbound, attempted a U-turn in the intersection when it was struck by the F-250, which was proceeding north.
As a result of the crash, 4 people suffered injuries. Reports indicate that the passenger in the Honda Accord died at the scene of the crash, while the car’s driver was taken to a nearby hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. Both occupants of the F-250 also had to be taken to the hospital for treatment of reportedly minor injuries.
At this time, investigators have not released their findings.
