A chaotic chain of events won't be fully explained in a news report. Even the preliminary reports from authorities will likely just offer part of the full picture. In my experience handling hundreds of commercial vehicle accident cases, crashes of this magnitude require extensive efforts from experienced accident reconstructionists before all the facts can be brought to light and examined. If authorities have been putting in that level of work, that's good. However, it often becomes necessary for the victims and families themselves to follow up and make sure someone is asking all the right questions.
