Commentary
With pedestrian accidents, my concern is always whether or not they got any attention from authorities. I've seen too many examples where they're all but cast aside and treated as a low priority. At the end of day, though, the facts matter. It's important to get clear answers about what happened and how the accident could have been avoided. If authorities did that here, that's good. But if this is like a lot of similar accidents I've seen, getting the full story might need independent investigations.
