Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Have authorities canvassed the surrounding area for cameras which may have captured the runaway vehicle on video? A lot of businesses and even residences these days have security cameras, and it's important to secure that evidence before it's erased or overwritten. Doing so could help authorities release images to the public that can lead to an identity and ultimately accountability for the accident. The sooner, the better.
