2 Injured in Pile-up Truck Accident on I-20 in Roscoe, TX
Nolan County, TX — September 29, 2023, two people were injured following an accident where a pile-up accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Interstate 20.
According to officials, the chain-reaction collision occurred along the eastbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 237, which appear to be just off the U.S. Highway 84 split.

Details say that traffic along the interstate became congested due to a construction zone. As traffic was merging, authorities say the driver of a Chevy 3500 truck admitted to not seeing the construction signage before failing to slow down for the line of vehicles ahead. As a result, the truck rear-ended a GMC Sierra which then crashed into an 18-wheeler.
Both the driver of the Chevy and the driver of the GMC, a 54-year-old man, had injuries described as incapacitating. There were no other confirmed injuries. Right now, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
