Robbin Townsend, 1 Injured in Car Accident on Vickery Blvd. in Fort Worth, TX
Tarrant County, TX — July 6, 2024, Robbin Townsend and one other person were injured in a car accident shortly before 6:00 p.m. along Vickery Boulevard.
According to authorities, 62-year-old Robbin Townsend was traveling in a southbound Hyundai Elantra on Beach Street at the Vickery Street intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, and eastbound GMC Sierra pickup truck occupied by a 38-year-old man on Vickery Boulevard neglected to stop for the red light indicated by the traffic signal, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front-right corner of the Elantra and the front-left corner of the pickup.
Townsend suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck. The man from the pickup sustained moderate injuries, as well, according to reports. They were each transported to local medical facilities in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
