14 Injured in School Bus Accident on SR 125 in Adams County, OH
Adams County, OH — May 13, 2025, 14 people sustained injuries as the result of a school bus accident that happened at 6:30 a.m. off State Route 125.
Authorities suggest the crash took place east of West Union near the intersection of Ohio 125 and Ralston Road.

According to officials, students were onboard the school bus going along OH-125 when the bus somehow went off-road and crashed into a ditch. Due to this, reports say 13 students were taken to the hospital and the bus driver "was treated." Their injuries were reportedly minor.
Right now, it does not appear that any other vehicles were involved. Authorities did not report charges or citations. No further information is available at this time.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
While it's encouraging not to see any serious injuries or deaths, it's important to be thorough even if injuries appear "minor." That's especially true with juveniles. Since they're still growing, the true impact of an injury may not appear immediately. Sometimes, it's not apparent for weeks or months. In the unfortunate event a kid ends up with such an injury, it's important the parents know they have all of the evidence from the crash preserved so they can work toward getting the help they deserve. So even if the results of a bus accident like this seem "minor," the investigations still need to be taken seriously.
