Shane Johnson Injured in Motorcycle Car Accident in Quinlan, TX
Hunt County, TX — September 29. 2024, Shane Johnson was injured in a motorcycle versus car accident shortly after 12:15 a.m. along West Quinlan Parkway.
According to authorities, 34-year-old Shane Johnson was traveling on an eastbound Honda motorcycle on West Quinlan Parkway at the S.H. 34 South intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound Nissan Altima on Quinlan failed to appropriately control its speed. This led to a rear-end collision with the back of the motorcycle. The impact caused Johnson to be thrown from the motorcycle, coming to a stop resting on a raised median on the southwest corner of the intersection.
Johnson suffered reportedly critical injuries due to the wreck; he was driven to a local medical facility by EMS where he was stabilized before being flown to another facility for further treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
