3 Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on East 42nd in Pecos County, TX
Pecos County, TX — September 10, 2023, three people were injured following a single-vehicle car accident at around 5:11 a.m. along East 42nd Lane.
Preliminary information about the accident indicates that it took place at the intersection of East 42nd Lane/Christensen Lane and Stone Road.

Authorities said that three teenagers—two 18 year olds and a 16 year old—were in a Chevy Malibu said to be going eastbound on 42nd. At the intersection, the vehicle somehow continued straight on a T-intersection, causing the vehicle to run off-road. There, the vehicle then overturned repeatedly.
As a result of the crash, the 16-year-old passenger had apparently incapacitating injuries. The other two passengers had injuries described as non-incapacitating. Right now, additional details surrounding the crash cannot be confirmed pending further investigations.
