Stafford Cosey Killed in Car Accident in Harris County, TX
Harris County, TX — September 18, 2025, Stafford Cosey was killed as the result of a car accident which occurred around 8:55 p.m. on Sam Houston Parkway.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash took place in the area of Lockwood Road.

According to officials, Stafford Cosey was in a vehicle going along North Sam Houston Parkway East. In a series of events unclear, the vehicle left the road and was involved in an accident. Authorities say they found Stafford Cosey unresponsive, and ultimately he was declared deceased.

There are far more questions here than answers, and I can only hope authorities are treating this like the serious situation it is rather than writing it off like I've too often seen them do following single-vehicle accidents. If nothing else, the victim's loved ones deserve answers.
