Commentary
One of my concerns with any crash involving a teen driver is how thorough investigations have been. Authorities are sometimes too harsh on younger, inexperienced drivers, and that can cause important extenuating circumstances to be overlooked. Maybe authorities here have been fair in their efforts and are letting the evidence speak for itself. However, it's not unusual in these situations for families to want an outside party looking things over and keeping the facts straight.
