2 Teens Killed, 2 Teens Injured in Single-car Accident on I.H. 35 in Temple, TX
Temple, TX — March 11, 2024, two teens were killed and two teens were injured in a single-car accident sometime after 2:00 a.m. along I.H. 35.
According to authorities, two 16-year-old girls and two 17-year-old boys were traveling in an allegedly stolen Mazda during a police chase on the Interstate Highway 35 service road in the vicinity of H.K. Dodgen Loop when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that the Mazda was traveling at excessive speeds leading up to the accident. It reportedly veered off of the roadway where it overturned and rolled an unknown number of times before coming to a stop. All four of the occupants were ejected during the course of the accident.
Two of the victims—one male and the other female—incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and were declared deceased at the scene. The other two victims sustained injuries of unknown severity and were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of those involved—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
