Commentary
This is a good lesson to always read past the headlines. The news reports I saw initially suggested this was some kind of "medical episode." That usually suggests a condition of some kind, as opposed to injuries caused by an accident. Now, reports suggest this may have been a forklift accident, which can raise far more serious challenges for the victim's loved ones.
I can only hope efforts to investigate this accident aren't as scattered as the reporting on it has been. Families deserve to know the death of a loved one is being taken seriously and handled carefully. The spotty early reporting has me wondering whether or not authorities are really giving this accident the attention it deserves.
