Commentary
With a hit-and-run like this, it's never to late to follow up with the public to see if someone comes forward with new information. There could also be nearby businesses or residences that captured the incident on video. Some may lose hope, but I've had cases where months later people came forward with details that helped bring the runaway driver to justice. With continued pressure, the same could happen here, as well.
