Two Injured in Tractor-Trailer Rollover Accident on I-69 in Martinsville, IN
Martinsville, IN — May 4, 2023, two people sustained injuries as the result of a tractor-trailer rollover accident that occurred at around 8:00 a.m. on I-69.
At this time, exact factors leading up to the crash are still under investigation. Preliminary statements from the Indiana State Police show that the incident took place along southbound lanes of the interstate in the area of Ohio Street.

Details suggest that a tractor-trailer carry Pepsi product was going southbound along I-69 at the time. For reasons still unclear, the tractor-trailer apparently went off the left side of the road. There, the tractor-trailer continued onto the median where it crashed into the guardrail and overturned. This sent the tractor-trailer into northbound lanes.
According to officials, two people were in the truck at the time of the crash. They were the driver and apparently the driver's instructor. Both were said to have been examined for minor injuries. No one else appeared to be hurt. Right now, no further information is available.
