Guadalupe, CA — January 11, 2025, one person was killed in a truck accident at about 6:30 a.m. on State Route 1/Cabrillo Highway.

Authorities said a 2015 Jeep Cherokee rear-ended a 2020 Kenworth semi-truck that had slowed down to make a right turn.

The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash just south of State Road 166, according to authorities. The man's name has not been made public at this point.

No other injuries were reported.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the crash.
