Willacy County, TX — January 30, 2026, two people were injured following a truck accident at around 9:43 p.m. along Interstate 69E.

Initial statements on the collision say it happened along the side of northbound lanes near the Business 77 split north of Raymondville.

According to officials, two pedestrians were outside a semi-truck along the side of the intersection. While they were there, it appears a Jeep crashed into the truck, hitting one of the pedestrians in the process. That pedestrian was seriously injured. The Jeep driver had moderate injuries.
