1 Killed in Two-vehicle Accident on S.H. 45 in Travis County, TX
Austin County, TX — February 5, 2024, one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident at approximately 6:50 a.m. along State Highway 45.
According to authorities, the accident took place on S.H. 45 in the vicinity of U.S. Highway 183.

The causal factors that led to the crash between two vehicles are still unclear. Officials indicate that one person was entrapped in the wreckage an had to be extricated upon the arrival of emergency personnel. However, that victim was unable to overcome the critical injuries they incurred during the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. One other person incurred allegedly minor injuries but declined to be taken to the hospital by EMS for further treatment.
