Pine Bluff, AR — December 29, 2025, one person was injured as the result of a reported 18-wheeler hit-and-run accident at 11:30 a.m. on I-530.
According to initial details about the accident, it took place along southbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 34, near US 270.
Reports show that the vehicles involved were an orange Dodge Charger and a tractor-trailer. It appears the vehicles somehow collided, resulting in the Dodge going off-road and overturning. The truck reportedly left the scene.
Due to the crash, the Charger driver reportedly was injured. The truck involved apparently was a red Peterbilt pulling a "silver hopper-bottom grain trailer." Additional details are unavailable at this time.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
It's good to see authorities putting out images of the truck allegedly involved here. At the very least, it's important authorities get in contact with the driver or their employer. Enlisting the help of the public is often the best way to resolve these kinds of situations. I've had cases before where we put out details into the public about a runaway driver, and even their family members or spouses can come forward and help connect the dots. Once that's done, there can be steps forward, either to getting answers or to seeing there are appropriate consequences.
