Marianne Dodd Brown Killed in Alleged Intoxicated Driving Accident in Arlington, TX
Arlington, TX — November 20, 2023, Marianne Dodd Brown was killed following an alleged intoxicated driving accident at 9:08 a.m. on Division Street.
Arlington Police officials released information saying the crash happened in the area of West Division Street east of Dottie Lynn Parkway.

According to investigators, 75-year-old Marianne Dodd Brown was the driver of a Chevy Silverado said to be going eastbound along Division. While doing so, it appears another pickup veered from westbound lanes into oncoming traffic and hit Brown's Silverado. As a result, Brown sustained fatal injuries. No other injuries were confirmed.
It appears the driver that reportedly crossed the center line is accused of being intoxicated at the time of the accident. There are pending charges for intoxication manslaughter as well as drug possession charges. Details are pending on further investigations.
