Two Injured in Alleged Intoxicated Driver Accident on Wetmore Road in San Antonio, TX
San Antonio, TX — December 29, 2023, a driver and a teenager were injured after an alleged intoxicated driver accident at around 8:00 p.m. along Wetmore Road.
Reports at this time say that the incident took place along the 9500 block of Wetmore Road, just north of Loop 410.

According to police officials, an adult and a teenager were in a Kia Forte traveling southbound along Wetmore Road. From oncoming lanes, it appears a Chevy truck crossed left of center and crashed into the Kia. As a result, the Kia driver sustained injuries said to be critical. Authorities say a 15-year-old in the car had moderate injuries.
The driver of the truck apparently drove away from the accident scene, but tips given to police led them to the vehicle. They say the truck driver was arrested for alleged intoxication assault and failure to stop and render aid. No further information is available at this time.
