Cassiopeia Hormann-Wolfe Killed in Truck Accident in Potter County, TX
Potter County, TX — January 22, 2024, Cassiopeia Hormann-Wolfe was killed following a semi-truck accident at 5:50 a.m. on U.S. Highway 60.
Investigators said in preliminary statements that the crash happened along U.S. 60 near L Avenue just east of Amarillo.

According to initial details, 22-year-old Cassiopeia Hormann-Wolfe was in a Dodge Ram 2500 going along westbound lanes of the highway. For reasons which are not confirmed right now, it appears the Dodge somehow lost control, causing it to veer to the left across the median. The pickup continued over the median and into eastbound lanes. There, an 18-wheeler which may have been speeding, according to authorities, crashed with Hormann-Wolfe's vehicle.
Due to the collision, Hormann-Wolfe sustained fatal injuries. The 18-wheeler overturned following the crash, apparently resulting in the truck driver sustaining moderate injuries. Currently, there are no additional details about the crash available.
