Gregory Kirksey Killed in Motorcycle Hit-and-Run Car Accident in Galveston, TX
Galveston, TX — March 6, 2024, Gregory Kirksey was killed following a motorcycle versus hit-and-run car accident at about 7:30 p.m. along Seawall Boulevard.
According to authorities, a man was traveling in an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck along Seawall Boulevard at the 45th Street intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the pickup truck attempted a left turn onto northbound 45th Street at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front-end of the pickup truck and a westbound motorcycle occupied by 37-year-old Gregory Kirksey. The man from the pickup reportedly fled the scene on foot, though reports state that he was later located. Kirksey incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident. No other injuries have been reported.
