Joslyn Jones, Jessee Petit Killed in Truck Accident on I-280 in Toledo, OH
Toledo, OH — February 7, 2024, Joslyn Jones and Jessee Petit were killed in a truck accident shortly before 7:30 a.m. along Interstate 280.
According to authorities, Joslyn Jones—age 19—and Jessee Petit—age 30—were traveling in a southbound sedan in Interstate Highway 280 in the vicinity just south of Front Street when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the sedan collided with the back end of an 18-wheeler which had been at a stop on the right shoulder of the interstate. Both Jones and Petit incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the crash and were declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
