Lance Henslee Injured in Truck Accident in New Braunfels, TX
New Braunfels, TX — December 8, 2023, Lance Henslee was injured in a truck accident just before 5:15 in the evening along the I.H. 35 South frontage road.
According to reports, a 23-year-old man and 20-year-old Blake Henslee were traveling in a southbound Ford Expedition SUV on the Interstate 35 frontage road approaching the Old Highway 81 intersection when the accident took place.

The sun was allegedly at an angle which made driving conditions more difficult. A southbound 18-wheeler was in the middle of making a right turn into a parking lot from the frontage road when, because of the driving conditions, the SUV failed to slow in time to avoid a collision. The front right and passenger side of the SUV collided with the rear-end of the trailer. Henslee, who had been in the front passenger seat of the SUV, reportedly incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident; he was taken to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
The accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been clear and dry. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
