Troy Dureault Injured in Car Accident on S.H. 276 in Rockwall, TX
Rockwall, TX — February 24, 2024, Troy Dureault was injured in a car accident at approximately 11:40 a.m. along State Highway 276.
According to authorities, a 41-year-old man was evading police in a purportedly stolen Toyota Highlander along southbound John King Boulevard at the S.H. 276 intersection when the accident occurred.

The Highlander reportedly ran a red light at the intersection, failing to yield the right of way to highway traffic. This resulted in a collision between the front end of the Highlander and the driver side of an eastbound Kia Forte occupied by 23-year-old Troy Dureault.
Dureault incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. The driver of the stolen vehicle suffered apparently minor injuries, as well, though transportation for further treatment was apparently deemed unnecessary.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
