2 Injured in Truck Accident on U.S. 50 in Harrison County, WV
Harrison County, WV — March 14, 2024, two people were injured in a truck accident at approximately 7:00 p.m. along U.S. Highway 50.
According to authorities, the accident took place on U.S. Highway in the vicinity of Bridgeport Hill Road.
The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an 18-wheeler and a Ford F-250 were involved in a collision. Reports state that at least one person was entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated upon the arrival of emergency personnel. Two of the victims incurred injuries of unknown severity and were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
