Carrollton, TX — September 3, 2024, Zubair Mohammed was injured as the result of a car accident at around 1:53 a.m. along the President George Bush Turnpike.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened along northbound lanes of the toll road just off West Belt Line Road.

Investigators said in their statements that 31-year-old Zubair Mohammed was in a Volkswagen Tiguan going along the Bush Turnpike. Due to reasons unconfirmed right now, the vehicle veered into the right barrier, then swerved left and crashed into the left barrier. As a result, Mohammed sustained serious injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
While few details are available right now, details following any single-vehicle wreck are best taken with a grain of salt. It can surprise people to learn just how much can slip through the cracks in these accidents simply because they're not seen as a high priority. Whether it's mechanical issues, faulty safety features, road defects, medical conditions, or some other extenuating circumstances, it's rare authorities take the time to represent the victim's side of the story. I'm already someone who consistently praises the work of independent investigators, but single vehicle wrecks are a perfect example of the kinds of crashes best off in the hands of independent professionals. I don't see a reason right now why this crash would be an exception.
