Dianora Lorena Vargas Injured in Car Accident in Galveston, TX
Galveston, TX — May 2, 2023, Dianora Lorena Vargas was injured as the result of a car accident that happened at 1:22 p.m. off Harborside Drive.
According to officials looking into the crash, it took place at 1011 Harborside Drive, which is in the area of UTMB Health off the corner of Ferry Road.
Authorities say that 69-year-old Dianora Lorena Vargas was in a Buick Encore in the parking lot at 1011 Harborside. It appears the vehicle accelerated suddenly while parking, causing the vehicle to lurch forward and crashed into a wall.
Statements from authorities suggest that Vargas had incapacitating injuries as a result of the collision. No other injuries were reported. At this time, no further information about the accident can be confirmed.
