Alexis Mikal McCoy Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in Dallas, TX
Dallas, TX — September 10, 2023, Alexis Mikal McCoy was fatally injured due to an apparent hit-and-run accident at around 5:15 a.m. along I-35E.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that they were called out to the northbound lanes of the interstate near Clarendon Drive.

According to officials, 28-year-old Alexis McCoy was the driver of a Ford Taurus traveling along north I-35E. While doing so, it appears that another vehicle made an unsafe lane change, hitting McCoy's vehicle. This caused the Taurus to veer into the median barrier, then overturn. The other vehicle left the scene.
McCoy succumbed to fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Authorities did not mention any other injured parties. Right now, available information only describes the runaway vehicle as blue 4-door passenger vehicle. No further information has been reported at this time.
