Marilyn Starke Killed, Donna Aldridge, Kelley Rodenas, Josiah Lloyd, Jon-Narc Lloyd Injured in Three-Vehicle Accident in Wise County, TX
Wise County, TX — October 5, 2023, Marilyn Starke was killed, and Donna Aldridge, Kelley Rodenas, Josiah Lloyd, and Jon-Narc Lloyd were injured in a vehicle crash on FM-51 in Wise County, TX.
Authorities indicate that on October 5, a fatal accident occurred when three vehicles collided in Wise County. According to reports, the crash happened around 7:52 in the evening.
Investigators say a Volkswagen and a Dodge Ram were heading north along FM-51 when the Volkswagen, attempting to pass the Ram, struck it and a southbound Buick. The impact reportedly forced the Dodge and the Buick into a roadside ditch. Sources say the Buick overturned. The cause of the crash has not been released at this time.
Officials confirmed the Buick driver, Marilyn Starke, 72, suffered fatal injuries. Buick passenger Donna Aldridge sustained life-threatening injuries. Volkswagen driver Kelley Rodenas had stable injuries. Two Dodge occupants, Josiah Lloyd and Jon-Narc Lloyd, reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
