Abi Acabal Perez Killed in Work Accident in Fort Worth, TX
Fort Worth, TX — July 28, 2021, Abi Acabal Perez was killed as the result of an accident at a work site at around 5:15 p.m. along Pedigree Trail.
Authorities with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration released a preliminary report on the incident, which they say happened at 53525 Pedigree Trail. This appears to be a residence in an area off the corner of Beach Street and Alta Vista Road.

According to preliminary investigations, 30-year-old Abi Abacal Perez was said to have been part of a work crew working on a rooftop. Due to events not exactly cleared, Perez fell from the roof, and he sustained a fatal head injury. No other employees were mentioned in the reports.
The OSHA incident summary listed two alleged violations found in their investigations. Both were labeled as "serious," and there was a listed recommended fine of just under $6,000. Current circumstances regarding the OSHA investigations are unclear, and further information cannot be confirmed at this time.
