Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
I hope the age of the driver didn't cause authorities to jump to conclusions. I can't begin to count how many times I've seen an accident involving a young driver, and investigators jumped to conclusions instead of letting the evidence speak for itself. It's possible authorities here were thorough enough that a secondary independent investigations wouldn't reveal anything new. It simply wouldn't be the first, though, if authorities let something important get by them.
