Multiple Injured in Alleged Drunk Driving Accident on West Ford Street in Odessa, TX
Odessa, TX — July 17, 2023, Injuries were reported following an alleged drunk driving accident that happened along West Ford Street.
Preliminary details about the crash say it occurred at the intersection of West Ford and South Einstein Avenue, south of town. It reportedly involved one vehicle driven by a man who police allege was drunk at the time.

Current information says that a vehicle was going along West Ford at the time, and authorities say there is evidence to show that vehicle was behaving recklessly. At some point, it lost control, causing the vehicle to careen off-road and overturn repeatedly.
As a result of the collision, multiple people in that vehicle had to be treated for injuries of various, unspecified severity. Police say the driver showed signs of intoxication and allegedly admitted to drinking. There appear to be multiple pending charges, including DWI. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
