Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
After any fatal accident, it's important to focus on preserving as much evidence as possible. A lot of it can be time-sensitive, and if authorities get too caught up with their own priorities, they might let some of that important evidence slip through the cracks. That's why many families feel better when there are multiple sets of eyes looking things over. Whatever path lies ahead for the victim's loved ones, it's always best to navigate that path with as much information as possible. Hopefully steps are taken here to ensure nothing important is slipping through the cracks.
