1 Killed, 1 Injured in Apartment Shooting off Ella Blvd. in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — October 30, 2025, one person was killed and one person was injured at around 6:15 p.m. following a shooting at apartments off Ella Boulevard.
Investigators said that the incident took place at apartments off the corner of Ella Boulevard and Rankin Road/Spears Road.

According to officials, two men were meeting at the apartments to sell a Playstation. Authorities say a third person became involved, an altercation occurred, and the third party fired shots. As a result, the man looking to buy the Playstation was killed. The seller reportedly was injured.
The third person and suspected shooter has not been arrested at this time. It's unclear if authorities know who the shooter was. Investigations continue.
