Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Following any single-vehicle accident, it's important to know if authorities are treating the crash as a serious accident should be treated, or if they're brushing it off as a low priority. I've worked with many families who unfortunately found themselves in the latter situation. The fact is departments sometimes move officers to work on other jobs before they've had a chance to do a proper investigation. For folks in need of a proper resolution, this can obviously present challenges.
So, whenever people feel their crash isn't getting the attention it needs, it's reasonable to seek out independent investigators who can pick up the slack. Having professionals with the time and tools needed for a proper accident reconstruction can make all the difference in getting people the answers they deserve and making sure they get back on their feet.
