Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Car accidents can be a lot more complex than people realize. They aren't automatically simple just because they're common. That's why a lot of victims and families find themselves weeks or months after a crash still asking the same questions they hoped authorities would answer. Sometimes, authorities just lack the time or resources needed to get those answers. That's when independent investigators may need to step in and pick up the slack. If there's more to the story, continuing to focus on the evidence is usually the best way to learn more.
