Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
One concern I have following motorcycle wrecks is if they're being treated fairly. Unfortunately, a lot of people just jump to conclusions and blame riders without really considering all the facts surrounding a crash. This can lead to situations where a motorcyclist is left trying to get the authorities to hear their side of the story, but authorities are already moving on. This is one possible scenario where independent investigations can be a huge help. Since their priorities are to gather all the facts, they can help ensure all sides of the story are told clearly. That way, those affected by the accident can rest assured they're not being unfairly misrepresented.
