Hamzeh Jamal Almaani, Saed Khader Killed, 1 Injured in Shooting in Forest Hill, TX
Forest Hill, TX — February 21, 2025, Hamzeh Jamal Almaani and Saed Khader were killed and one was injured due to a shooting at a car dealership.
Authorities say the incident occurred at RK Auto Sales off Mansfield Highway in southeast Fort Worth.
Initial statements say that 35-year-old Hamzeh Jamal Almaani and Saed Khader were employees at the car dealership. While there, a former employee allegedly came in and shot Almaani, Khader, and a third person. Due to the shooting, Almaani and Khader were killed. The third victim was left in critical condition.
Authorities say the suspect was arrested and faces charges for murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Additional details are unavailable right now.
Commentary
With such an awful situation, my hope is those handling the investigations are hard at work to get answers for families and to find out what led to the shooting, if it could have been prevented, and what possible steps can be taken to prevent future incidents.
