Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Anytime a motorcycle accident occurs, my concern is how thorough investigations have been. Frankly, a lot of people are biased against motorcyclists, and they tend to jump to conclusions before they have all the facts. I've even had cases where authorities rushed their investigations and got details wrong because of this bias. It's possible authorities here have been more careful to ensure they're getting the victim's loved ones the answers they deserve. But if getting the whole story required a more thorough, unbiased independent investigation, it certainly wouldn't be the first time.
