Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
One of the biggest challenges of single-vehicle wrecks is when the victim isn't able to give their side of the story. That's why it's important to make sure the crash is in the hands of investigators who have the time, tools, and experience to let no important details get by them. Police can't always guarantee that level of scrutiny, as not all departments prioritize accident reconstruction when budgeting for resources and time. Sometimes, it takes independent accident reconstructionists stepping in and picking up the slack to ensure the victim's loved ones get the answers they deserve. It wouldn't be unusual if that proved necessary here.
